My Thoughts/Review (Probably Contains Spoilers):

I wanna start off by saying the atmosphere? Lovely. Mix that with the occasional "extra step" that MC takes whenever You move and its *chefs kiss*. I managed to get scared by every monster in the game lmao. I will admit that I did not turn around when I read the note mainly bcuz I was scared but partially bcuz I figured I would die and have to restart lmao. Ignore my stupidness at the beginning of the actual gameplay. I got turned around at some point and lost track of where I was walking. So when I stumbled back into the car I thought I had ran into a different car. For this reason you will hear me say stuff like "Idek where my car is" I was mistaken and genuinely lost haha. I probably would not have been jumpscared by the dude near the key had I read the note earlier but I never opened the porta-potty early on unfortunately lol. All in All great game! Also disregard what I said about the game not being 10-15 min. I thought the map was way bigger bcuz again I was lost lol. 4.5/5 thanks for the experience!

Wow.. this was so creepy! This reminded me of Granny 3 and Slender man a bit, with the notes and the way you had that lady & that Jason man come chasing you.I hope you do create more games! This was good fun! Here is my gameplay!

That was really unsettling. Walking through a dark, quite forest, knowing something is gonna happen at some point but not knowing when. Leaves the mind to wander about whats out there. Great job ! Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work ! :)

Weird Road Trip is a compact but immersive horror experience. The eerie tone, retro visuals, and smooth mechanics work really well together. It’s clear this is just the beginning — there’s great potential here for something even more memorable.

Would like to thank the creator for inviting me to play your game as I always appreciate creators who invite me to play their games. 

The game is about the main character's car breaking down in the middle of the dark woods where he needs to find items to fix his car. This involves the main character walking around the woods in search for the items. I liked the dark and tense mood and atmosphere throughout the game as it constantly keeps me on my toes where I am constantly concerned whether there will be something behind me or something lurking in the shadows. I liked the duck easter egg and the ghost hidden in the woods as well which actually made me curious as to the reason why is the ghost there and was there a ritual that was being done there to summon her.

Nevertheless, I wanted to comment on the main character being able to walk around the dark woods without a flashlight which is kind of peculiar to me and although there is some notes that talks about the killer in the woods, there actually isn't much information regarding why the killer is chasing after the main character or why is the killer stuck in the woods. However, the chasing scenes were definitely quite intense and scary, especially near the end of the game.

Short but not bad at all! Definitely a great experience for sure with some comedy in it as well. Made a video on it.

From the start till the finish, this is a primary example of how simple horror game should be made - scary, fun, atmospheric and exciting - an absolute blast!

Recently, I've got my hope back with small indie horror games, because every single one just delivers high quality and performance. This particular game is no exception. I loved the presentation, the environment, the creepy antagonist, everything was top notch. Great job!
